Gelding with depression and lack of performance

I was contacted by Pete's owner who felt he had been rather down and depressed for sometime and could I help. During the initial consultation we discussed Petes history and the conclusions from a veterinary examination. Having had a blood test by his Vet the conclusion was low white blood cell count but no anaemia, although his heart rate was fast. During the first Reiki session Pete did not relax fully but did take the healing, through the session I felt sensitivity in the heart chakra. My second visit 7 days later Pete seemed much brighter and his owner told me that in himself he was much brighter. Again I offered Reiki which Pete accepted although he was not happy around his chest or shoulder areas during the session. After the Reiki session I offered herbs which I felt may assist. Pete selected herbs which suggested anaemia but also liver supporting herbs and tonic herbs.

My next visit was after another 7 days, during this consultation Pete was definitely much more content and slept through his Reiki session, I was able to work on all the Chakras during the visit. His owner felt at this point he was more like his old self and was now back in work. I left his owner with a supply of herbs to offer him daily for a few weeks. I then visited again 3 weeks later as he was still not 100%.

Over a 10 day period I visited Pete 4 times offering Reiki and using magnetic products with him, he reached a point where he no longer wanted the Reiki but did enjoy a magnetic massage. I left a magnetic rug with his owner for Pete to wear for a few hours each day. At this point Pete was now not working as he was finding it too hard, so a break was suggested.

After a few weeks there seemed to be an improvement, he was changing his mind about some of his herbs and now seemed much brighter in himself, so much so that his owner brought him back into work, Ten weeks after Petes' therapy started I caught up with him at his first show in 4 months. I watched him jump a clear round and win 2nd place in the class and be placed 3rd overall - a great result for both horse and rider.
